Little Princess/ Big Football player

Many Thanks to Bethany and Matt for thier perfect princess present!!

And Thanks too, for Joels Skateboard... even though Joel walked in the door, saw and opened his gift without my having a chance to film the gift opening! He loves it though! To compensate we bring you rare photos of Joel in uniform. Enjoy!

A Little princess

Hosanna had her "Princess Party" Sunday! Look at all the gifts!
Zuri got to try her hand at crochet. She kinda resented this picture cuz it was throwing off her groove
We got to romp with all the little princesses by the lake!

I am as cool as Lisa!

Not only did Lisa join the ranks of the not-anonymous bloggers... she had this really cool RSS feed alongside hers! I figured it out and want to pass the ino on so you can be as cool as Lisa too!
From your dashboard go to Layouts. Click "add a gadget" then click "My blog list."
Now, if you already created an RSS feed at Google Reader as I previously reccomended, you can just add your whole list in one click and remove the ones you dont want showing on Blog Spot! Otherwise paste and click the addys from your previous link page element. Happy Blogging!

An Anniversary trip

We had perfect weather, a perfect room, and a perfect time in Michigans Keewenaw Peninsula this past weekend:

This was part of the view of the room God provided. We drove to town not knowing where we'd stay. We just prayed and looked around. sadly, all the regular rooms were taken, so *tch* we had to have an "Executive" room on the 5th floor with a brand new pillow top mattress, down comforter, and a few other nifty perks, for just $62.00
We celebrated our anniversay at the first place we ever ate together. same table, wearing what we wore to our wedding. (we are sentimental fools) Pilgrim River Steakhouse in Houghton:
No anniversary trip is complete without visiting the place we first saw each other. Canyon Falls:

There was this unique little bakery somewhere between Copper Harbor and Calumet where this monk-type order live in a gorgeous thing overlooking the lake, and cook stuff like Gignger Bread and fruit Cake. It smelled awesome, and it was very busy with tourists clamoring for the goodies:
Umm.. just a pic by one of the many little look-out points
We also toured Eagle Harbor lighthouse. It really takes you back in time to stand on the craggy outcrop in front of the sturdy brick lighthouse.
Where's Charlie?? can you find him in this picture:
Did you find him? here's a hint:

How about here? Can you find him?

Yup! You were right!

Here's one for beginners. Find me:

Okay! That was EZ. But The keewenaw is beautiful! You really should visit it to remember the world and the way it was when God first created it

Congrats 2 Us!

It was one year ago tommorow me and this handsome dude tied the knot on a windy day ovelooking Lake Superior. It has been a great year with a great guy who is just nutty enough to love me ALOT. Today we came to Houghton, Mi to just have some "us" time. We found a great room that overlooks the city and the canal! I can't wait to go explore Copper Harbor tommorow and visit the little shops and restaurants here in downtown.
