Pioneer days

Me and this really good looking guy decided to go to the "Pioneer Days" in nearby Negaunee Michigan. The winds were really kicking, but we enjoyed hanging out at gorgeous Teal Lake.
Ah yes, and we took this gal along (and boyfriend, not pictured)... who can never resist a pose:
We listened to the top two "Battle of the band" contestants. This band won.
Afterwards there were awesome fireworks!
Thats all folks!

Nice pics, we need to someday somehow get Cheryl and Cullen up to the UP when there is grass on the ground instead of snow. It can be nice!

that is a good picture of Hannah. And that's that creepy lake isn't it? I remember grace used to always it looked like where the lochness monster lived.

LOL! Hannah and I just talked about that on the way to marquette today. I have always seen Teal lake as a beautiful slice of natural scenery along a Highway, and considered it a "friend" because it says "Welcome to marquette." hannah said you all said the lake was creepy so she figured people died there or something.

it is a creepy lake. loch ness I believe.

I'm pretty sure there are dead people. Hannah should watch her feet, they are probably going to get chopped off.
