A New Baby!!

Grace is in the beginning stages of labor!! Woot!! My next post will surely include a photo of a sweet little grandbaby named Zuri.
While I am eagerly awaiting the birth of my newest grandbaby...
I grew impatient and found a new baby of my own!

Here is the baby's daddy... (and what my little girl will look like in a couple years:)

And this is her!

What do you think of Sadie Mae? Any thoughts on names?

Gifts

Tis that time of year when the Calendar reminds me that I am getting closer and closer to walking out of this world and into heaven. (meaning: I'm getting old)

Grace and Hosanna celebrated my homeward journey with a wonderful fingerpainting which I needed to cover all that icky solid white color on my refridgerator, plus flowers and (yummy!) choclate!

As well as this awesome pair of earings:
Hannah gave me a much needed daughterly hug!! Oh.. and a puzzle too. yayness.

Charlie had a trail of cards and bouquets and flowers to announce that he loves me!!!! Double yayness! I had to harrass him about finding my gift; which was a docking station for my Kodak camers! At last! Hoorah!! And then he took me for dinner at Red Lobster.
(Sorry ladies... he's taken)

And a pic of my young son on the shooting range with HIS new birthday gift: a 22. His pa bought it, but I did enjoy taking the lad to target practise at a christian shooting club.

Excitement!!!

I knew there was a reason I love Charlie. Now I understand! He is all for buying a pedigree little Australian puppy!! I am in contact with a gal who ships the adorable creatures! Here is a picture of her litter. We have a choice of red male or black and tan male or female. Any thoughts??

yay

Homeschooling has begun... and already my spirit has revived to read about Christopher Columbus and "The Light and the Glory," and feeling the sparks of passion for our nations Christian heritage reignite within... This book Joel is reading is historical fiction for kids and the first section was written as a diary on September 5th, 1492! Coincidence?

And of course to be able to do this reading outside at Presque Isle just makes it more enjoyable yet! I admit I missed Hannah and Luke alot. *sniffle* They would have loved being outside for school, playing catch and creating adventures on the break wall.

A pensive Joel. We walked as far out as our cowardliness would allow and grew dizzy watching the gentle splashing of waves. We talked about how frightening it would be to sail out into uncharted waters.

And this picture was taken just because the warm air, blue water, and scenic cliffs does something healing to a persons soul. Don't ya think?

Still figuring this thing out...

A scene from the Norway fair where Charlie and I watched a biker-guy do a pretty cool show.

These boys were pretty entertained as well:

Now that I live in Marquette I can take advantage of all it's culture-y things. Saturday I dragged Charlie along to the dog show in hopes of finding the perfect canine breed for us. I fell in love with an adorable "Australian Terrier." What a cutie! As soon as I have an extra $600.00 I think I'll buy one.

I was pleased to find this little foursome:

I was happy to see them in a cage because otherwise they may start racing or chasing squirrels and get muscle-tone.

...and don't ya just love those cow eyes?

I would add another picture and say more BUT I have yet to figure out Blogger. *sigh* I cannot move my pictures around on the blog. I don't get it. So I am still trying to figure it out.
and YES Lisa.. you must not only begin your own blog but included in your mission is the daunting task of getting Jimmy and Deb to create one as well.
