We took a little trip south to see our Bethany Anne. It was great to have all three girls and two grand-girls with me over Easter.

The next day Joel and I worked on his Colonial Days Party. He made "Maple Wheaten Bread" from scratch. He did great and it turned out super tastey. We also made new England Clam Chowder, Hasty Pudding, and Candied orange peels, all of which drew rave reviews.
Here was Joel in his St Pattys Day Colonial garb:
Joel taught Family and Friends about Colonial days, he set rules and played games he had made , such as "quoits," a ring toss version of horse shoes, and Native American Stick toss
Here were some of the peeps attending. (Charlie was peeping from behind the couch cuz he was sick that day. Poor thing) Hosanna made a colonial wig and Addy is looking through his book on New England states.
But.... Hannah broke the rule about walking with her mouth open. *tsk* She recieved a proper Colonial punishment.
It was a bit nerve wracking and challenging, There's alot of great talent here in Marquette. I was especially surprised at the number of guys were there and how really, really good they were. I had to audition by *gulp* singing!
Hosanna and Madison had a ton of fun being littles together. I loved to see Hosanna enjoy time with her 2nd cousin. They were a great team... two zesty, capricious, little ladies
We all enjoyed my darling grandbaby Zuri! What's not to enjoy? She's at an adorable age
Aunt Karen and Hannah enjoyed the frigid temperatures taking senior pics that turned out awesome!!
We all watched Eric skate his heart out hoping to capture the State Championship. Alas, they took second... a great achievement although it was ahard pill to swallow when victory was close at hand.
Sadie will miss the company. Good-bye everyone! *sniff*
I was so happy that Luke would be able to snowboard with Joel Sunday. It was kinda Joels "party" after his lessons. I took this picture then headed home to crash (I am sick.. in case you forgot) no sooner had I heated some soup at hime then Luke called... afraid he had broken his wrist. EEk!! Thankfully, it was just a sprain.
